Hi there, This is my first blog, so it would be more like a introductory blog and as you have guessed by the title, I would be sharing with you my experience as an engineering student.
I am a second year Computer Science Engineering student. So I have completed almost a year studying engineering but for me engineering didn’t end up as I thought it would be. Life in an engineering college is not as it seems from outside.
I personally thought I would be learning pretty much a lot about workings and applications of various aspects of computers and algorithms but apparently it seems like Indian education system is more into making students mug-up and study subjects which has absolutely no relation with the course they are studying or neither will these subjects be ever needed for working in an industry.
One thing I like about engineering colleges is that they organize various seminars and workshops which I personally find to be useful as they brief us about the latest trends in the industry. I find tech seminars to be very informative and useful.
Past one year in my college I only found seminars and workshops to be informative and useful. I think if anyone wants to learn some industry level stuffs then it would be best to learn by yourself from various online resources.
I know it’s just one year and maybe I’ll get to learn a lot more in the future but as of now college life hasn’t been that great but it’s not that I regret doing engineering, rather I enjoy studying engineering and it’s really fun. That’s all from my side. Feel free to share your experiences with me on my email.
Thank you.
